Please join us for our Morning Shotgun and lunch then return for cocktails and dinner at 4:30pm. We have several fun groups teeing off in the morning including Dr. Mahoney’s foursome.
We also invite ALL to join us for Lunch or Dinner only (no golf). All are welcome!
Join us in celebrating 53 years of legendary support in memory of Brother Martin P. Burns. The BERGEN CATHOLIC GOLF CLASSIC continues to be one of our most popular events of the year. Thank you to our dedicated golfers who consistently support Bergen Catholic at this great event.
We are thrilled to continue an exciting new format with two different options of play!
MORNING GOLF FORMAT:
The morning golf format will have each player play his or her own ball. This gives competitive golfers the chance to test their skills on the recently updated Charles Banks course at Hackensack Golf Club. The option to play a SHAMBLE (see description below) will also be available.
AFTERNOON GOLF FORMAT: Afternoon SOLD OUT!
The afternoon golf format will be a SHAMBLE. This format has each golfer tee off, and the best shot is selected. From this point, each golfer plays his or her own ball.
These options will accommodate golfers of every level and speed up the pace of play.
If you would like to join us for Lunch or Dinner only (no golf)—you will see that option available on the registration form.

PEBBLE BEACH
GOLF EXPERIENCE RAFFLE
Enjoy three outstanding rounds of golf at Pebble Beach Resort—Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Course, and The Links at Spanish Bay. Accommodations will be provided for 4 guests (double occupancy) for 3 nights at Pebble Beach Resort’s The Inn at Spanish Bay. Breakfast is included each morning.
- Trip does not include caddy fees or gratuities, airfare or ground transportation. Winner has until June 10, 2025 to enjoy his/her trip.
- Winner can choose to substitute another Land & Links destination and will be responsible for any difference in cost.
Tickets are $100 each, and only 400 will be sold! You do not need to be present to win!

- 6:30-10:30am: Registration & Breakfast
- 8.00am: Morning Golfers Shotgun Start
- 11:30am-3:00pm: Lunch (Clubhouse and on Course)
- 1:00pm: Afternoon Golfers Shotgun Start
- 4:30 pm: Cocktails, Silent Auction Opens, Putting Contest, and other activities
- 6:00-8:00pm: Honoree Recognition, Dinner, Awards/Prizes, Silent Auction, and Golf Experience Raffle drawing

Tony Rocchio ‘76
Tony graduated from Bergen Catholic in 1976, and was awarded the “Outstanding Football Player” award in his graduating class, he received an athletic scholarship to the College of the Holy Cross.
After graduation from Holy Cross, Tony returned to BC to coach football for one season alongside his longtime teammate and fellow Hall of Fame member, Jack McGovern. They were part of a coaching staff that won the 1980 State Championship.
Tony then embarked on a successful career in the financial services industry working both domestically and internationally. Currently Tony is a senior management consultant for a global FinTech company.
Tony is the proud father of AJ (BC’07) and Allie (IHA’08) and Grandfather of Rose, Ava and Anthony. Tony is dedicated to giving back to Bergen Catholic and proud that he and his son AJ are Crusaders.
