Susan LaMonica

Susan is the Chief Human Resource Officer for Citizens Financial Group, overseeing a team of professionals responsible for organizational development and culture, talent acquisition, leadership and talent development, learning, DE&I, compensation and benefits, and human resources service delivery. During her tenure, Susan played a crucial role in the Citizens IPO from the Royal Bank of Scotland. Before joining the bank in 2011, Susan held senior leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase, serving as head of Human Resources for the investment banking and markets division globally. Before that, she served as the head of Human Resources for the Consumer and Commercial Banking division. She also served as global head of Development for the bank, leading the firm’s efforts around talent, leadership, learning, diversity, culture, and organizational change. Susan began her banking career with Chase Manhattan Bank, holding roles in operations, risk, and retail banking. She also serves on several public, not-for-profit, and industry boards. Susan has an MBA in Finance from NYU and a B.S. in Finance from Boston College.
