Dave Giarrusso Named Assistant Principal of Discipline
ORADELL, NJ, August 29, 2024– Bergen Catholic is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Dave Giarrusso as the new Assistant Principal of Discipline.
Mr. Giarrusso came to Bergen Catholic at the start of the 2023-2024 academic year and served as a social studies teacher. He has worked in Catholic education for over 25 years, beginning his career at Saint Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco, CA and later working at Seton Hall Prep, where he was a history teacher, lacrosse and football coach, and an active member of the Kairos retreat program and founder of the Veteran Service Club.
“I look forward to continuing the great traditions of Bergen Catholic and upholding the BC culture”, said Giarrusso. “I am excited to share and utilize my 25 years of teaching and coaching experiences from a variety of different Catholic school settings. As the Dean, I look forward to being there for the students, working with the admin team, faculty and staff, supporting them all, as we help these young men navigate high school. Ultimately holding them to the high standards that they have set for themselves.”
