BC 98 - HACKENSACK 80 in B.C.C.A. Jamboree

Feb 12 - Hackensack - BC relieved its second straight High School from Hackensack of its County hopes in the quarter finals of teh County Jamboree with a 98-80 over the Comets from HHS.

In the Battle of the Bergens, It's Catholic Over Tech

Feb 5 - Tenafly - BC used its incredible depth to press a fiesty Black Knights team into submission in the 1st Round of the BCCA Jamboree.  The top seeded Crusaders pushed tempo, buidling a considerable lead and then controlling the game for a 69-30 victory.  <<MORE>>  


Bergen Falls to Bosco 61-65 in front of Packed House at BC

Feb 3 - Oradell - Hoehl Gymnasium was rocking with an SRO crowd and dozens were turned away for BC hosting the Bergen-Bosco Classic.  In a game of swings, Bosco got the last really big run and held on through much of the third and fourth quarters to even up the season record.  <<MORE>>

Feb 1 - Allendale - BC rebounded from Monday's defeat to St. Anthony with a convicing win over Northern Highlands in Allendale.  <<MORE>>


Bergen Catholic Falls to St. Anthony in Overtime

Jan 30 - Oradell - In a game that saw BC lead at the end of the first three quarters, they were unable to put the game away with the last shot in the 4th.  That was all the opening St. Anthony of Jersey City needed as the Friars continued their 44 year reign of terror over Bergen County opponents with a hard-fought 61-58 OT win.  <<MORE>>

BC Sweeps DePaul 88-52

Jan 24 - Oradell - The Crusaders opened up an 18-point, first quarter lead and never looked back , cruising to a 36-point victory over the Spartans.  The win was career win #100 for Head Coach Billy Armstrong.  <<MORE>>

Notre Dame (CT) Dashes Crusader Finish

Jan 21 - Hackensack - Bergen faced a very tough opponent in the Mel Henderson Classic at Hackensack High School.  Despite a clutch 3-point shot with 47 seconds remaining, an ND shooter lifted them to a 70-69 victory wtih just 5 seconds remaining.  <<MORE>>



Bergen Overtakes Old Tappan 71-57

Jan 19 - Off to a slow start for the second time in two games, the Crusaders erased a 7-point deficit in a matter of seconds to start the second quarter and finish the half at 31's.  From there, it was all Crusaders as the visitors put a second notch in the right column for the hosting Golden Knights (10-2) who played with great energy and resiliency.  Taj Benning dropped in 18 points and Rhona Eseyade provided a major inside presence on defense, as BC improved to 12-1.

Bergen Follows Up Friday Night Effort with Stong Performance in Public-Private

Jan 14 - Englewood - BC may have suffered a little lag after its thriling win in Ramsey on Friday night, finding themselves in a rare deficit after one quarter.  The second was too much for Wayne Hills, however, as BC took the period 23-10 en route to a 69-55 victory.  <<MORE>>


BC Knocks Off Top Ranked Don Bosco Prep 67-62

Jan 13 - The Crusaders had a big night in sports, but the biggest vicotry was the road win over the Ironmen that helped BD improve to 11-1.  <<MORE>>

Jan 10 - Oradell - Queen of Peace has no answers for the problem set the Crusaders handed them as the state's #5 Non-Public rolled to its tenth win on the tenth.  <<MORE>>

Dec 29 - Girard, Pa. - Crusaders now 6-1 as 2016 draws to close.  <<MORE>>



BC Jumps to 5-1 after Building 17-Point First Quarter Lead in Pa.

Dec 27 - Girard, Pa. - Bergen Catholic scored 25 first quarter points, building a lead which would not be relinquished.  The Crusaders defeated Girard 68-51 in this holiday classic.


Bergen's Eleven 3's Overpowers SJR 77-45

Dec 22 - Oradell - BC exploded offensively and continued a stifling defense to defeat the defending County Champs at Hoehl Gymnasium in front of  a sell-out crowd.


BC Late Heroics Gas Ghosts in OT

Dec 20 - Paterson - BC scored 25 fourth quarter points, erasing a 7-point deficit to put the game into Overtime where the Crusaders finished off a clutch victory 64-61.  <<MORE>>
