Strong Crusader Season Comes to an End in States

February 20 - Bergen swam up against the top team in NPA.  Christian Brothers Academy of Lincroft took one step closer to a state championship with their victory over BC, 113-57.  Congratulations to first-year coach, Lia Kunnapas and her Crusaders for an outstanding season.  Still to come:  Individual states.  <<MORE>>

January 29 - West Nyack - Congratulations to a team that swam its best when it needed to.  Crusaders posted season-best times in 8 of 11 races and took down NV-Demarest 237.2-215.3.  <<MORE>>  <<STORY>>


Bergen Competes, but falls to #1 Westfield 107-63

January 25 - Westfield - Coach Kunnapas continues to push her team up against the best in the state and while some final results have not yielded marks in the left hand column, BC is learning to compete with the best the Garden State has to offer.  <<MORE>>



Tough Tredding in Bridgewater

January 18, 2017 - Bridgewater - BC was defeated by Bridgewater-Raritan HS, 107-63, in a match up of two of the states top teams.  Austin Lee won both the 200 and 500 Frees, setting a season best winning time in the 500 at 4:10:48.  Tom Scrivanich won the 100 Back for the Crusaders.  <<MORE>>



BC Falls the First Time in Top 20 Showdown

January 11, 2017 - Scotch Plains/Fanwood - Two of New Jersey's Top swim teams competed as #14 BC Swam up against  #8 SP-F on Tuesday and BC suffered its first defeat of the year, 69-101.  Kevin Cortright won the 100 Free and Tom Scrivanich won the 100 Back for Bergen.  <<MORE>>




Bergen Travels Well, Cranks on Montgomery 108-62

January 6, 2017 - Montgomery.  BC continues to hit its stroke against a strong NJ opponent.  Tom Scrivanicha and Kevin Cortright help BC to 4 season best times to start off the new year.  <<MORE>>



Crusaders Dunk Don Bosco Prep, Hit Magnificent Seven

December 21, 2016 - Bergen Catholic earned its seventh win with no losses as the Crusaders defeated the Ironmen by a score of 101-69.  <<MORE>>
