CRUSADERS PRESS PALADINS

JANUARY 9 – ORADELL, NJ – The Crusaders exhibited a stifling defensive first half effort, en route to a 72-37 victory over Paramus Catholic in a BNC United Division game.

Will Richardson led the Crusaders with 19 points, knocking down his first four free throws and showing his ability to dunk and knock down threes along the way.  Julian Brown had a very strong offensive effort as well, with sixteen points and 6 assists.  Center Terry Copeland scored ten points and picked up six rebounds while classmate Brandon Benjamin picking up five points with 8 rebounds an assist and a block.

David Munro had his second-straight double-digit game, finishing with 10 points and Austin Sargenti and Gianluca Phelan each hit three-pointers.

The Crusaders improved to 3-0 in conference and 7-1 overall.  They are on the road for the remainder of this month and will return home to Hoehl Gymnasium on February 1st against Paterson Kennedy.
