More History Making for Harriers

October 28 – Mahwah, NJ – The BC Cross Country team continued to make history at the Bergen Meet of Champions at Darlington County Park on Sunday. The Crusaders finished second as a team, earning a podium spot for the first time this century. BC was again led by senior Braedon Fiume, who finished 4th in the race in the second-fastest time at Darlington in BC history. Senior Elias Shaia had his best race of the year in finishing 10th, followed by senior Jack Welch, sophomore Owen McCarthy and senior Graydon Nichols. The Crusaders came within 9 points of unseating defending champion Ridgewood, and bested 3rd place Don Bosco for the third straight time this season, while posting the second-fastest five-man average time in BC history.

Next up for the Crusaders is the New Jersey Catholic Track Conference Championships at Central Park of Morris (Greystone) on Saturday, 11/3.
