BC DEFEATS IRVINGTON IN FIRST-EVER MEETING 47-7

September 29 – Oradell, NJ – Quarterback Andrew Boel had a tremendous performance on Saturday tossing four touchdown passes, helping BC to dismantle a lightning quick group from Irvington 47-7.

BC opened scoring in the first quarter with a pair of touchdown runs (8 and 6 yards) by Rhamir Johnson. The Blue Knights cut the score in half before the teams switched sides.
That’s when Boel stole the show in the second quarter, throwing 4 TD passes before the half to four different receivers: Johnson (48 yards), Garret Cody (47 yards), Amar Gist (9 yards), Joe Aniello (12 yards).
Rakeem Ross rattled off a 47 yard run in the fourth quarter to set up his own 5 yard scoring sprint. This would end the scoring for the day.
Sebastian Sagar and Tywone Malone made their presence felt on the defensive side of the ball, each sacking the quarterback and pitching in 3 tackles for losses between them. Javon Cruz continues to make his presence felt as he makes some violent tackles and helps to set a tone on defense as does Anthony Corbin, John High and Armani Cruz.
