FIVE DIFFERENT CRUSADERS SCORE AS BC ARRESTS PIRATES

January 5 – Wayne, NJ – The Crusader Hockey Team put goal-after-goal on the board against the visiting Seton Hall Pirates, leading to a 5-2 victory at the Ice Vault.

Cory Robinson opened the scoring for Bergen in his first game as a Crusader just thirty-four seconds into the contest.  BC wouldn’t score for another twenty minutes, when Antonio Arcaroli found the back of the net.

Freshman goalie Daniel Dmitrievsky played outstanding in the goal, holding the Pirates scoreless for over 40 minutes.

Matt Desiderio opened the third period with a power-play goal.  He was followed by an all-even goal by Will Frasetto to open a 4-0 lead on Seton Hall Prep with just over nine minutes to play.

The Pirates cut the lead in half with just under four minutes remaining in the game, but Leo Carlucci closed the door with an insurance goal at 1:28.
