Hockey Tames #5 Pope John with Ferocious Third Period

January 2 – Augusta, NJ – The Crusader Hockey Team won a major victory on Wednesday, taking down the state’s fifth-ranked team, Pope John XXIII of Sparta. Ryan Moloughney opened the scoring at the 10:41 mark off a feed from 16 Nicholas Chiurazzi and second assist from Nick Stoebling. Two minutes later, the Lions would knot the score, but BC took back the lead on a William Frasetto goal assisted by Devon Kelly and Tyler Ugliono. The only goal scored in the second period was another tying goal by Pope John.
