BC WINS JACK YOCKERS RELAYS FOR SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR

April 10-13 – Oradell, NJ – At the Bergen County Relays, the Crusaders captured their second consecutive county championship by a score of 136 to 117 for Paramus Catholic and 105 for Don Bosco. BC won 8 of the 16 events, as well as taking 4 seconds and 4 thirds. Golds were won by the Pole Vault, 4 x 1600, Distance Medley, Javelin, Shot Put, Sprint Medley, High Jump, and 4 x 800 relays. Twenty-two separate athletes contributed points to the cause, with senior Henry Hughes leading the way with 12 points, followed by senior James Blair with 9.5. Senior Braedon Fiume anchored 3 scoring relays, and was nominated for track athlete of the meet. Senior Elias Shaia was part of the most winning relays – three. A great team performance.
