September 27 – Oradell, NJ – The Varsity Soccer Team is showing no signs of slowing down as they took out a feisty eleven from Fair Lawn 4-0. The game started inauspiciously as the visitors created a 50/50 ball in front of the BC net in transition, but it was quickly turned away and put the Crusaders on the offensive for much of the rest of the afternoon.
Andrew Graf opened the scoring on the day, putting away the first two Crusader goals. He later assisted on a third, giving him three points on the day. Sophomore Jake Sweeney nimbly perambulated his way with the ball around a counterpart, putting a lot of pressure on the defense and generating a goal for himself, BC’s third. This was all after he set up a pair of goals
Speedy Senior, Dan Geraghty found the back of the net with a nice right-footed blast which closed out the BC scoring in the fourth quarter, but was a contributor early on with an assist. Ryan Langberg started in the goal for BC and shut out the Cutters, turning away 3 shots on goal. Jack Christman and Andrew Remias completed the shutout, saving a shot apiece.
