September 8 – Oradell, NJ – Bergen Catholic opened its 2018 campaign with a vision of grasping a fourth consecutive Big North United Title. The boys in scarlet looked very much in mid-season form as they opened with a 6-1 drubbing of DePaul Catholic. Chaz Ferris and Daniel O’Donoghue each netted a pair of goals and Connor Donovan and Jake Sweeney added a goal and an assist as BC methodically took apart its opponent.
