April 1 – Clifton, NJ – Senior Dylan Anderson recorded his 500th career kill on Monday as BC defeated the Mustangs from Clifton HS two games to one.  The team played especially well in the bookend games establishing an insurmountable lead in the first game en-route to a 25-18 victory, then dropping a hard fought 25-23 game, but winning the last game very strong 25-14.
“I was able to get a picture with my parents and the ball,” said Anderson, who was clearly appreciative of the opportunity, his accomplishment and the support of his parents.
Saraang Patel had a major day with 3 aces, 10 service points and 38 sets.  Andrew Remias led the team with 15 service points and added 5 kills, 5 digs and an ace.
Wesley MacNeil and Brian Mendoza got down and dirty with double-digit digs.  (On a personal note, I think that’s a personal best for words starting with “d” in one sentence, for the author.)  MacNeil recorded a team high 12 digs plus 7 service points, 7 kills and added 3 aces.  Mendoza had 10 digs, 5 assists and one assist.
Senior Gabe Camacho showed off his service skills, recording 3 service points and Andrew Pinto-Shaw picked up a pair and added two kills.  Giovanni Perrone ha d a block and three kills as BC starts the season 1-0.
