CRUSADERS SPLIT TWO AT JEFFERSON TRI-MATCH

April 6 – Jefferson Twp., NJ – The Crusaders travelled to take two Morris County powers, Jefferson and Chatham High Schools.
JEFFERSON SNEAKS BY CRUSADERS – In the opener, BC got the strong efforts it has come to expect from Dylan Anderson (1 ace, 3 service points, 11 kills, 2 blocks and 2 digs), Wesley MacNeil (1 ace, 4 SPs, 7 kills, 1 assist and 9 digs) and Saarang Patel (3 service points, 1 kill, 20 assists, .5 blocks and 4 digs).  Brian Mendoza pitched in 5 digs and Gabe Camacho pitched in 4 service points as well.  It was not enough, however, as the Falcons prevailed 25-20 and 28-26.
BC CLAWS BY COUGARS – In BC’s second match, the Crusaders easily handled Chatham 25-9 and 25-19.  Anderson led with a season high 17 kills and Patel recorded a season-high 26 assists on the day.  Mendoza had another strong game, recording 3 service points and 6 digs, while MacNeil had 10 SPs, 4 kills and a team-high 7 digs.  Andrew Remias added 7 service points, including an ace, 3 kills, 2 blocks and 1 dig.  Giovanni Perrone provided 3 kills and Andrew Pinto-Shaw pitched in a kill and a dig in the win.
