Once you attend Bergen Catholic, you are a Crusader for life. Your connection to Bergen transcends the doors of Oradell Avenue and follows you far beyond the borders of the state of New Jersey. In fact, our extensive network of over 11,000 alumni spans throughout the United States and dozens of countries around the world.
May 6 – Oradell, NJ – Wesley MacNeill and Andrew Remias went on a couple of strong service runs to help BC in the third game and Dylan Anderson had some big kills on the outside as BC defeated Hackensack 25-11, 19-25, 25-18.
Hackensack seemed to play possum in the first game as the Crusaders had an easy time and 14-point victory. But the energy returned to the Comets in Game 2 and they put BC on notice that the third game would be a quality game. MacNeil and Brian Mendoza came up with some big digs vs. Hackensack’s opposite (right side hitter) which helped BC to turn things around. Saarang Patel recorded 31 assists and added a couple of dumps for kills. Anderson, once again, hit for power, recording 21 kills. Andrew Pinto-Shaw provided a pair of kills and a pair of digs and a half-block. Sophomore, James Deegan, filled in for Gabe Camacho very well, recording 5 digs.
CATHOLIC. GENTLEMEN. LEADERS.
