Six Crusaders Announce College Decisions

Nov 11 – Oradell, NJ – Veterans Day at Bergen Catholic coincided with the annual National Letter of Intent (NLI) Signing and College Commitment Ceremony for the Fall Signing Period.  The 2021 edition of Crusader Lacrosse introduced six seniors committing, with more to follow in the December and February signing dates.

Long-stick Midfielder, Michael Garchitorena will be attending the Yale and competing for the Bulldogs in 2021-22.  His teammate, Riley Kahill, a face-off specialist, plans to continue his education and playing career for the Royals at Scranton University.

Brenden Kelly, a senior attackman, will be moving onto the Happy Valley, competing for Penn State University.  Senior offensive midfielder, Jake Nelson is heading to Wagner College to play for the Seahawks in Staten Island.  Our principal, Mr. McElhinney must be very proud to see Jack Patti go on to play lacrosse and wrestle for his alma mater, Muhlenberg.

That leads to the end of an era.  George Talarico completes the run of Talaricos wearing the #18 for BC.  He is the fifth brother to go on to play Division I lacrosse and will follow brothers, Alec and Travis at Bucknell.

Good luck to all of the Crusaders in your college careers!
