Mr. Nick Saingas began his association with Bergen Catholic in 1971 when he attended his first Bergen Catholic athletic event. Nick has served the school in many different capacities: He was member of the Board of Directors for six years; President of the Father’s Club; President of the Crusader Touchdown Club; Chairman of the McGovern Roast Committee and Tri-Chairman of the 25-year Silver Anniversary Golf Outing. He presently serves on the Development Committee, Buildings & Grounds Committee, and is Moderator/Treasurer of the Crusader Touchdown Club. In 1992 he was the recipient of the McGovern Award. He retired in 1997 after a 35 year career as an executive with PSE&G. Nick is married to Joan and they have two children, Chris ’90 and Sheri, IHA ’92.
