AP Environmental Science Class & Green Club Enjoy Outdoors Classroom
ORADELL, NJ, December 8, 2023– Members of Bergen Catholic’s AP Environmental Science class & Green Club enjoyed a field trip this week to the Ramapo Valley Reservation in Mahwah. The students hiked to several locations within the reservation and talked about ecosystems, geology, and impact of dam construction and removal on the environment.
BC’s students practiced their skills in making observations related to environmental factors they learned about in the classroom and were asked to write down their observations and make sketches along the trails, followed by a group discussion.
