Mr. Joe Azelby graduated from Bergen Catholic in 1980. While at Bergen, Joe was captain of the 1979 State Champion football team, co-captain of the basketball team and recipient of the Scholar Athlete Award. He was first team AlI-State and All-County linebacker. At Harvard University, he was captain of the 1983 Ivy League Champions and received All-Ivy, All-ECAC, and All-American honors. Joe received the Bulger Lowe Award, as the Outstanding Defensive Player in New England and the Bingham Award, Outstanding Athlete in his Harvard graduating class. He went on to play for the Buffalo Bills, as linebacker and special teams player. Joe and his wife Janet have three daughters, Christine, Colleen and Jaclyn.
