Mr. William Belluzzi is a 1969 graduate of Bergen Catholic. While at BC, Bill was President of the Crusaders for Christian Action, the Guidance Club, and the National Honor Society. He matriculated at Fordham University, where he was President of the On-Campus Tutoring Program and Alpha Mu Gamma, the Language Honor Society. After graduating magna cum laude from Fordham, he returned to BC for 10 years, teaching Spanish. Italian. and Religion and serving as a Guidance Counselor, Varsity Tennis Coach, and Moderator of both the yearbook and The Herald, the school newspaper. He moved on to join the Guidance Department at St. Joseph Regional HS in Montvale and Valley Middle School in Oakland. After receiving a Masters of Education degree in Administration and Supervision from William Paterson University, he was appointed as the Principal of Dogwood Hill Elementary School in Oakland and then Tenafly Middle School, where he presently works. Bill has received several major awards over the years. including the “Counselor of the Year”. Award from the Bergen County Professional Counselors Association (1989) and the “Administrative Excellence Award” from the Bergen County Elementary and Middle School Administrators (1999). Bill resides in Dumont with his wife, Jody, and children Brian ’97, and Lisa, AHA ’00.
