Mr. Peter Blaser came to Bergen Catholic in 1976. Pete, who learned his trade with the Dumont Pop Warner Program, coached Bergen’s freshman football team from 1976 to 1983. During those years he developed a standard of discipline among his young players that was a tremendous help to them as they advanced in the program. Pete also coached the undefeated sophomore team in 1984. Pete served four years with the Air Farce and this instilled in him the necessity of self-discipline and teamwork. Answering the request of a friend, Pete started a relationship with BC’s football players that endures to this day.
