Mr. Joseph Branciforte graduated from Bergen Catholic in 1964. A 1969 alumnus of Notre Dame, he also received an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1985. A staunch believer in Catholic education, Joe came to Bergen Catholic in 1997 as its third Director of Development after a 26-year career with United Jersey Bank, where he rose to Executive Vice President. Prior to and after his BC arrival, he has given 13 years of counsel to Bergen Catholic’s Board of Directors (three as its Chairman). At BC, his “team” has engaged and energized alumni and parents while recording over $9 million in financial support for BC’s students and their families. He served on the Academy of the Holy Angels’ 10-year Strategic Planning Committee while advising many other Catholic charities on “development” strategies. He and his wife, Cathy, have two children, Joe, Jr. BC ’03 and Kate, AHA ’08.
