Roger Breslin, a member of the Bergen Catholic Class of 1989, is regarded as one of the most complete point guards in school history. A two-time NNJIL All-League selection, 1989 First Team All-County Selection and an Honorable Mention selection for the Bergen County All-Decade Team of the 1980’s, Breslin led BC to a combined 47-11 record over the course of his junior and senior years, including two consecutive Parochial A North State Titles and the 1989 Bergen County Jamboree Championship. A two-time captain, Breslin still holds school records as the all-time career leader in assists (478) and free throw percentage (84%) and single season records (1988-1989) for assists (272) and free-throw percentage (89%). Breslin also ranks in the top 25 in BC history for career points (831). Breslin earned a full basketball scholarship to Holy Cross where he holds the school record for career free throw percentage (89%), is 3rd all-time in assists (475) and was a member of a 5 player class chat won over 80 games over their 4 seasons together, including winning the 1993 Patriot League Championship and earning a berth in the 1993 NCAA Tournament. One of Breslin’s finest moments came in the nationally televised Patriot League Championship game his senior year when he scored 17 points and had 10 assists in a 98-73 rout of Bucknell. Currently an Executive Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle in Boston, Roger and his wife Jen are the proud parents of Jack(15). Kelsey (13) and Kaitlyn (12).
