Mr. Donald Casey is a 1944 graduate of Bogota High School where he earned 1st Team All-State recognition for basketball while his team claimed the Group II State Championship. He went on to play for four years of varsity basketball at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1948. He earned his MBA from Columbia in 1952. Don spent his entire career in the textile business, initially with Burlington Industries for 20 years and then as President of several firms, retiring in 1992 from Bellwether international where he served as President for 7 years. He was a member of the Golf Committee at BC for over 20 years, receiving the Br. Martin P. Burns, CFC Award for his efforts in 1999. Don was an original member of the BC Board of Directors, serving for three years. He has served various Board capacities over the years at St. Clare’s Hospital, NYC., Cabrini Medical Center and Hackensack Golf Club. Don’s family includes his wife of 50 years, Maggie, 7 children, including Paul ’77, a 1994 inductee into the BC Hall of Fame and Mark ’86, along with 11 grandchildren.
