Mr. Francis X. Courtney graduated from BC in 1972. Frank was All County in both Track and Cross Country and held individual records in the 880 and 1000 and shared records in the Distance Medley and the Two Mile Relay. Frank was also a member of the Marching Band and Orchestra, and the recipient of the Tracey Award at graduation. He attended William and Mary where he was an Indoor All-American, ran the half mile leg of the Distance Medley in the 1975 Nationals, and the anchor of the Two-Mile Relay in the 1976 Milrose Games and Penn Relays. Frank pursued an MS at the University of South Florida and is presently working for the Florida Marine Research Institute.
