Joseph DelliCarri was a member of the Bergen Catholic Class of 1985. A Varsity letterman of three sports in his senior year, Joe and his teammates won NNJIL league titles in Soccer, Basketball and Baseball and State Parochial “A” North titles in both Basketball and Baseball. He was captain of the Soccer team his senior year and a member of the Language honor and National honor society. He also worked on the school’s newspaper staff. Joe graduated from The University of Pennsylvania in 1989. Drafted by the New York Mets that same year, Joe played six seasons in the minor leagues. five with the Mets and one with the Detroit Tigers. Currently, Joe is a Scouting Supervisor in the state of Florida for the New York Mets. Joe has been marred to his wife Cindy for over two years.
