Mr. Gerald Goldee is a 1964 graduate of Bergen Catholic and was a National Merit finalist. He went on to receive his undergruduate degree from Fordham University and his Masters from Seton Hall University. Jerry returned to BC in 1976 to teach math and history. He served as freshman baseball coach from 1977-1979 and varsity baseball coach in 1980. He was also the founding moderator of our school’s literary magazine The Talisman which he led from 1979-1989. He has also served as Math Department Chair from 1983-1987 end has been moderator of the Academic Quiz team from I987 to present, coaching tournament champions in 1990 and 1991. Jerry also is the moderator of the Math League team since 1997. He received the Outstanding Educator Award from the Archdiocese or Newark for the 1997-1998 school year. Since 1981, Jerry has travelled extensively with students on the Modern Language Department’s European trips.
