Dr. Dante lmplicito is a 1982 graduate of Bergen Catholic. An outstanding student during his years at BC, he served as Class President and was awarded the Brother Eugene D. McKenna Award at graduation. He earned a BA at Johns Hopkins University in 1986, then received his MD in 1990 at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, where he remained for his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency. Following a fellowship in spinal surgery in San Francisco, he returned home to begin his practice, joining the staff at Hackensack University Medical Center where he currently serves as the Director of the Spine Center and Section Chief of Spinal Surgery. Dante has published several articles on various spinal surgical techniques and has lectured at many national and international meetings. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, is a member of the New Jersey Orthopedic Society, New Jersey Medical Society. and North American Spine Society, is a founding member of the Organization of Spinal Specialists. and is the founder of the web site. He lives in Franklin Lakes with his wife, Christine. and daughters Catherine (5) and Lily (2).
