Mr. Victor L. Liggio came to Bergen Catholic In 1957. Vic graduated from lona College and attended St. John’s Law School. Vic served as Bergen’s first varsity baseball coach and also coached the freshman football team. All who played under him knew him to be a • no-nonsense type of guy • Vic taught the way he coached, specializing in English, business law, accounting and algebra. He brought a wealth of knowledge to all of the teams he coached having played on championship teams in high school, college, and in the U.S. armed services.
