Mr. Michael Maron graduated from Bergen Catholic in 1977. He was an outstanding hockey player during his scholastic days at BC, helping the program grow into one of the strongest in Bergen County at that time. He earned BS degrees in Business Administration and in Health Services Administration from Providence College and then moved on to the Columbia University Business School to earn his MBA. Mike was employed as Administrator and Chief Financial Officer at Pascack Valley Hospital in Westwood, then signed on with Valley Hospital in Ridgewood as Internal Auditor and Financial Analyst. He joined Holy Name as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 1987, and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 1991. Six years later, he was again promoted, this time to his current position as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the hospital. A member of the American College of Health Care Executives and Health Care Financial Management Association, Mike presently serves on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Hospital Association. The former Chairman of the BC Board of Directors also previously served on the boards for the Center for Health Affairs-NJHA and St. Joseph’s School in Oradell. He resides in Oradell with his wife, Diane, and his sons, Michael, Jr. (BC ’04), Brendan (BC ’07), Kyle, and Patrick.
