Richard Massey is a 1986 graduate of Bergen Catholic. Rich was the captain of the golf team in his junior and senior years and was named to the All-County Team three times. In Rich’s senior year, he was named a High School All-American and won the Bergen County Tournament by shooting a county record, 68, at Hackensack Country Club. He graduated from Furman University in 1990 with a BS degree in Accounting. While at Furman University he shot a course record, 62, on Furman’s golf course, tying the record held by PGA pro, Brad Faxon. Rich is currently a member of the Canadian PGA Tour, the South American Tour and the South African Tour. Rich’s best year was 1995 when he finished 70th on the South African Tour, 40th on the Canadian Tour and 23rd on the South American Tour.
