Matt O’Reilly ‘86 was ranked third in his class and was a three year varsity starter for the basketball team at Bergen Catholic. He was a member of the 85 team that won the Parochial A North Championship and the 86 team which won the Bergen County Jamboree title. During his senior season, Matt was selected first team All-League and All-Bergen County. He played for a New Jersey State All Star Team which beat a team of Connecticut All Stars. Marc is also a member of the Jamboree All-Decade Team (1980s). Matt went on to play Division One basketball at the College of William and Mary, where he was a starter for three years and a two year captain. Matt was named to the Colonial Athletic Associations (CA) All-Academic team both junior and senior years and lead the CAA in assists his junior season. On the academic side, Matt won the prestigious Wall Street Journal Award for the highest GPA in Finance at William and Mary. Matt is currently the Chief Operating Officer multi-billion dollar hedge fund in Radnor, PA. Matt’s greatest achievement is his marriage to his wife Christy for 27 years and their four children, Sean (24), Katie (22), Maddie (20), and Jack (18).
