Mr. Robert L. Papa graduated from Bergen Catholic in 1982. He went on to Fordham University and graduated in 1986 from the College of Business. He started his career as the play-by-play announcer for the Class A baseball team The Utica Blue Sox. In 1987 Bob became the Morning Drive Sports Anchor for WNEW – AM radio and also hosted the New York Giants “Tailgate Show” on WOR-AM radio. His play-by-play assignments have been many: backup radio for the N.J. Nets, Notre Dame basketball, World League of American Football (NY-NJ Knights), pay-per view boxing including the Holyfield vs. Douglas Championship bout, and NBC Sports baseball coverage of the 1992 Summer Olympics. In 1995 Bob will become the voice of the New York Giants on WOR.
