Matthew Radosolovich, a member of the BC Class of 2001, was a superb hockey, lacrosse and soccer player for the Crusaders before going on to enjoy a fine collegiate and professional career on the ice. A four-year letterman and co-captain, he led the hockey team to its first State Championship and Tournament of Champions title in 2001. That season he was named The Star Ledger/NJ Devils “New Jersey Player of the Year.” He was named First Team All-State and received the NJ Devils High School Player of the Month and Record Athlete of eht Week honors during the 2001 season. Matt was a three-year letterman for the soccer team and a member of the 1999 State Championship squad. He was also a two-year letterman for the lacrosse team, helping him to earn the BCCA’s Multi-Sport Athletic Award at the end of his high school career. Matt became only the second player in hisstory to “walk on” to the powerful Boston University hockey team where he became a four-year letterman. A three-time Hockey East All_Academic athelete, he receive BU’s prestigious John B. Simpson Award (for outstanding leadership) as a senior. Matt then went on to play five year of professional hockey at the “AA” levele, seeing action for three teams (including affiliates of the New Jersey Devils and Dallas Stars).
