Kevin and Mary Rigby have shared a long and meaningful relationship with Bergen Catholic. Kevin is a proud member of the Class of 1972 and he and Mary are prouder yet to have two alumni sons, Daniel ’01 (RIP) and Patrick ’05. Daniel died tragically in an off-campus housing fire while a senior at Georgetown University in 2004. This led to the formation of the Friends of Rigby Foundation, which has already raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to promote fire safety, education and community activism. Additionally, two financial aid scholarships were created at Bergen Catholic in loving memory of Dan, each focusing on helping students with demonstrated need, as well as those that exhibit passion and commitment to community volunteerism. Kevin and Mary have generously contributed their time, talent and treasure to different charitable organizations including: Lamp for Haiti, United Way, Alliance for Aging Research and many others. The Rigbys truly value being a part of the Bergen Catholic family and are forever grateful for all the love, support and guidance that BC has provided so many young men over the years.
