Mr. James E. Sok started teaching and coaching at Bergen Catholic In 1960. Jim graduated from Montclair State College with a B.A. and received his M.A. from New York University. Jim’s BC teams won numerous league and county titles and State Track Championships in 1963 and 1964. With over 400 career victories, selected as Jim has been the Bergen County Track Coach of the Year four times, as well as being named New Jersey Track Coach of the Year. Everyone who ever ran for Coach Sok still hears his cries of “Guts, Desire and Determination!”
