Mr. Vincent Sweatlock became associated with Bergen Catholic in 1970. Vince just celebrated his 25th year “as a regular”. During this time, the Bingo workers raised over one million dollars. Over the years, Vince tended the gates at football games, designed and implemented the sprinkler system, and provided the portable altar and lectern. He co-chaired the Showtime Journal in 1973 and was the Father’s Club treasurer in 1973 and 1974. His sons, Vincent ’73, Matthew ’74, Mark ’79 and David 83 had a true fan as he followed them through soccer, indoor-outdoor track and football. His daughter Donna graduated from IHA in 1976.
