Mr. Edward Tracey was a member of the Congregation of Christian Brothers and was one of the founding faculty members at Bergen Catholic, along with Brother McKenna, Brother Lawrence and James Obrotka in 1955. Ed was the school’s first athletic director and he also taught Religion, math and history at BC until 1963. He also coached several teams at all levels. After leaving Bergen, he was a teacher and then Principal at Bishop Kearney High School in Rochester, NY for ten years. He was then principal of DeSales High School in Geneva, NY for another 24 years. Ed and his wife, Beryl, have been married for the past 25 years. They have three adult children, Ed, Colleen and Joe.
