Mr. James P. Ward graduated from BC in 1978. A two-time All-County guard in basketball, Jim led Bergen Catholic to the Bergen Jamboree Title in his Junior year. The following year he led the Crusaders to their first Basketball State Championship. An exceptional offensive and defensive player, Jim’s floor leadership and coolness under pressure were his greatest assets to the game. Jim received a full basketball scholarship to Manhattan College. His leadership and playing ability were recognized when he was selected to the ECAC “All-Academic Team” received the Jasper Student-Athlete Award at graduation.
