BC Service Leaders Meet Saquon Barkley of the New York Giants
ORADELL, NJ, December 11, 2023– Two of Bergen Catholic’s community service leaders, sophomores Joseph Cabanita & Kevin Sweeney, were honored for their commitment to Covenant House and this year’s “Sleep Out” event at BC by getting the chance to meet New York Giants star running back Saquon Barkley at MetLife Stadium.
Joseph Cabanita currently serves on the Covenant House Junior Executive Board whileKevin Sweeney was one of the highest fundraisers for this year’s “Sleep Out” event. Bergen Catholic has raised over $43,000 for Covenant House this year, and has become one of the top fundraising schools in the area in helping Covenant House combat childhood homelessness.
