BC Tennis Runs Fall Clothing Drive
ORADELL, NJ, September 20, 2023 – Members of the Bergen Catholic tennis program recently organized and ran a clothing drive fundraising event on Sunday, September 17th. The clothing drive was held throughout the afternoon in the school parking lot in Oradell, as the team did their part to help give back to the local community in need by collecting new or used clothing, while also raising money for the program based on the amount of donations collected.
The BC tennis program partnered with Carecycle, Inc to help collect, transport and donate bags of clothing to families in need of clothing.
“I think it was great for the kids and their families to get to spend time together on a Sunday, while we were able to donate clothes for a great cause” -JV tennis coach Andrew Baydar ’14.
