Bergen Catholic Finishes Top 3 in Missions Collection
ORADELL, NJ, October 24, 2023– Bergen Catholic juniors Christian Choi ’25 and Matthew Morin ’25 recently represented BC at the 2023 Edmund Rice Action Leadership Retreat held in Kearny, NJ, where Bergen Catholic was honored as one of the Top 3 Christian Brothers schools in the nation in regards to missions collection.
During the weekend retreat, the topic of food sustainability was an overall theme for all the attending schools and their student leaders. The Crusader students developed a goal of creating a sustainable fruit and vegetable garden on campus in Oradell, in order to grow their own food donations for local food pantries, in addition to collecting their normal financial donations.
