Dr. Wayne Tinsey Speaks at Bergen Catholic
ORADELL, NJ, October 13, 2023 – Bergen Catholic welcomed Dr. Wayne Tinsey to speak to the entire school community on Friday morning. Dr. Tinsey is a Global Ambassador for Edmund Rice Education Beyond Borders and provided a presentation about mission, Blessed Edmund Rice, and the Essential Elements of an Edmund Rice Christian Brothers education.
Edmund Rice Education Beyond Borders is an international network of Catholic schools educating young people from many different faiths and cultures. It is inspired by the teachings of Jesus, Gospel values and the spirit of Edmund Rice. In over 25 countries, the network endeavors to promote global solidarity and offer a transformational education for justice and liberation. EREBB was inaugurated in May 2014 when leaders representing Edmund Rice Education gathered in Nairobi, Kenya to establish an inclusive international network of Edmund Rice educational communities.
Prior to this position, Dr. Tinsey served as the Executive Director of Edmund Rice Education Australia. The EREA has responsibility for more than 50 Edmund Rice Christian Brother schools in Australia.
