Bergen Catholic’s Tyler Cusumano ’25 Passes SOCOM Athlete Prep Training
ORADELL, NJ, May 15, 2024– Congratulations to Bergen Catholic junior Tyler Cusumano ‘25 who successfully passed the SOCOM Athlete Prep Program down in Virginia Beach, Virginia over the past weekend. SOCOM (Special Operations Command), is an elite Navy Seals tryout challenge which prepares those who want a career in Special Operations by emulating the various selection tryouts held by each military branch’s special warfare entities with the hopes of passing the challenge of physical, mental strength and endurance that Navy Seals undergo.
BC’s Cusamano was part of only 60% of the entire group that passed the training, as the group consisted of students, civilians and active military.
